For all the girls who applied for being a Diamond Girl, the time has finally come. These girls excitedly came to school checking posted list of the new members on the coaches’ classroom doors.   
   More than 70 girls applied yet only 30 made the Diamond Girl crew.
   The girls on the list were: Mary Alan Bailey, Latesha Boyd, Kelsey Brown, Shelby Clemmer, Alese Cooper, Liz Davis, Breann Elliott, Anna Fitts, Jessica Freeman, Lessie Goolsby, Bethany Grant, Carley Green, Kat Harrell, LeeAnn Johnson, Samantha McBryde, Laura Morgan, Hana Morrison, Neshia Norton, Celeste Pearson, Brea Rich, Millie Rubio, Erika Ruedas, Natalie Ruedas, Adriana Ruiz, Sandy Ruiz, Jeniviya Smith, Danielle Stafford, Kayla Thompson, Lindsey White, and Maija White.
   Working in the concession stand are: Erika Ruedas, Natalie Ruedas, Alese Cooper, Bethany Grant, Laura Morgan, Neshia Norton, Celeste Pearson, and Maija White.
   Found in the dugouts will be: Anna Fitts, Carley Green, Hana Morrison, and Lindsey White.
   Other jobs for Diamonds are picking up foul balls, assisting at the gates, working with the music box, keeping up with the books, and assisting the gate.
